These vintage diamond earrings feature 2.5 carats of sparkling white diamonds set in scrolling 18k white gold. They were purchased in France and have French hallmarks.

They started their life as earrings with a clip backing, indicating their vintage jewelry status. They have been converted from clips to pierced earrings with posts. We've modernized them, but kept their vintage spirit creating what we like to call Modern Heirlooms.

These earrings are pretty and versatile. The simple scrolling shape gives them a timeless appeal. Perfect in almost any setting, from cocktail dress to white tee or even as statement earrings for a special event.

Vintage Diamond Earrings Dimensions & Details

The earrings measure 1.3" height by .7" width.
18k white gold.
Each weighs approximately 6.7g. Together they weigh a total of 13.6g.
Diamonds: brilliant and single cut diamonds, G-H, SI1.
Approximately 2.2-2.5 carats (measured in setting).
The earrings have been converted from clip earrings to pierced earrings with posts. The original omega clip portion acts as an elegant and secure backing.

Period & Hallmarks

Vintage.
There are two hallmarks. An owl in an oval frame (marked on the round portion of the clip) for imported 18k gold jewelry. The second is a 750 stamp, representing 18k gold (marked near the hinge). Metal also tests for 18k.

Condition

The earrings are in very good condition. There are two minor nibbles on two of the small diamonds and are only visible by magnification (loupe or microscope).
