We've created this limited edition set of Ceylon Sapphire and Diamond studs for our bespoke line of single stud earrings. This set is made up of sparkling pastels in candy-colored hues: pink, pale blue, and this shade of lavender/periwinkle blue.

Each Sapphire (unheated and untreated) is just over 2/3 of a carat. It is set off by a bright, white and sparkling .15 carat diamond.

Buy one, to add to your earring stack. Or, by all three as a limited edition set ($1,375). The Sapphire total carat weight in the set is just over 2 carats and the Diamond total carat weight is almost 1/2 carat (.45 CTW).

Each Sapphire was hand selected from our favorite Sapphire purveyor. While we might find similar colors, each one is unique therefore we cannot guarantee a similar re-stock. Read more about why these Sapphires are so special.

About These Sapphires

Sri Lanka is a premier source for quality sapphires and rubies. Also referred to (using the old name of the country) as Ceylon, which has long been synonymous with a very high quality of Sapphires.

These Sapphires come from a gem purveyor that is probably one of a dying breed. Over many decades he has traveled the world (Burma, Sri Lanka, China) and has developed a network of miners and cutters. Because he personally travels to each location, buying from the same individuals year after year, he knows where each stone comes from. He knows which stones have been treated and labels them as such.

It has been such a wonderful discovery that whenever we can, we source our Sapphires from him. This is why we can tell you with confidence their county of origin, and that they have not been heat treated.
