Antique pieces that incorporate the buckle design are particularly popular as they have a bold and modern look. This one does too, despite the fact that it was created more than 135 years ago. It's a lovely Victorian example in sterling silver, with a buckle motif.
There is nothing quite like the inviting glow of antique sterling silver. This is the latest addition to our collection of antique silver bangle bracelets from England. It is hallmarked for sterling silver, Birmingham, and 1883.
The buckle takes on dimension as the strap threads through the buckle. It is engraved on the front half of the bracelet and plain on the other half, which was typical of the period. It is a hinged bangle with a push-in clasp, tongue and groove closure, which fits securely.
