This is a gleaming, sterling silver bowl from the Edwardian period. The silver bowl is footed and has what is called a Chippendale border.
These bowls were used for many things, but perhaps my favorite is as a "Rose Bowl". Put a floral frog in the bottom to create the perfect arrangement.
