This is a finely made set of sterling silver serving pieces is intended for dessert. It was made in France during the Art Nouveau (1900/1910) period and is crafted in the French Silver standard of 950/000 or 95% (2.5% finer than Sterling Silver).

It is decorated with gorgeous flora and fauna in the forms of vines swirl around each handle. There is a little space for an engraved initial if you have your heart set on personalization.

The set is comprised of the following from left to right in the box.

Dessert Knife: For slicing soft desserts.
Perforated Pie Server: To serve pies or cakes.
Perforated Spoon: To serve desserts with liquids (berries, citrus). 
Dessert Fork: With three tines, for picking up small desserts and fruits. 
 
How would we use it? The set is perfect for sweets that you might serve with tea, dessert, or brunch.

  • Hallmarks: Minerva Hallmark in octagonal frame with "1" near the Forehead. This denote a high quality of silver .950 or 95%.

Condition

  • They are in good antique condition. There is wear, surface scratches, and minor imperfections that you would expect to see in a piece of this age.
