Sterling Silver, Victorian with Hallmarks 1896, 5 1/2" tall
Antique silver candlestick in the Corinthian column form are a favorite and we continually seek out antique versions in good condition. Crafted during the Victorian period and hallmarked for London, it is fun to imagine the London dinner party tablescapes that might have included these candlesticks.
Why do we love these silver candlesticks in particular?
- Beautifully crafted by silversmith company Hawkesworth, Eyre & Co. established in 1833.
- Crisp detailing in the details of the Corinthian column: acanthus leaves and capital.
- Full English Hallmarks for Sterling Silver.
- They are just really pretty!
We have styled them with fluted roman candles, repeating the fluted design found in the column.
