Antique Victorian Diamond & Ruby Ring, 18ct Yellow-Gold, Size 8 3/4
Any lover of old cut diamonds will appreciate this pretty, antique three stone diamond and ruby ring. From England, this is a fully hallmarked (1890), 18ct gold band ring. It may have been worn as a wedding band or a stacking ring. It's perfect for the woman who loves old cut diamonds and stars.
The sparkling old cut diamond is set within a carved star flanked by deep red rubies on either side. These rings are also known as "Gypsy" or "Gypsy Set" for the style of the stone setting: deep enough to accommodate gems that are set into the ring and flush set with the surface.
